I will tackle the next most obvious question now. Juliana our family adoption representative seen in the picture to the right is great at fielding this one. Here is the answer she typically gives to those who pose this question to her on the phone, "When we started looking into adoption we were pretty overwhelmed with the endless number of options. We were of course looking for the Lord’s leading in all of it, but remembering that the Lord uses His Word and our circumstances as means to guide us, we stopped waiting for that special “feeling” and started digging in to specifics of the different types of adoptions. We found that the best program to fit our family would be one that we could adopt an infant and the wait time would be reasonable since we wanted to continue having biological kids. Foster Care adoption is the least expensive however it can be a very long wait for babies. This is definitely a great option if you are interested in older kids or if wait time is not a concern. Domestic adoption also did not seem the best option for us b/c the wait time is very unpredictable. In addition there are lots of added dimensions in regards to open or semi-open adoption that we just don’t feel that we have the life experience yet to handle. Then we came to international adoption which would allow us to both adopt an infant AND have an expected timeline. Not that we want to be picky, but truly the options are endless and you do have to start naming priorities to even beginning narrowing the field down."

Wow, Juliana! That answer shows a depth of wisdom and knowledge of the Lord's heart that is lacking in most adults lives, much less other 2-year-olds. You are definitely wise beyond your years, sweetheart! ;o)
