The ribeye steak sandwiches were a hit! The proceeds from the grill-out given to us for the adoption were a little over one thousand dollars. Pretty amazing when you think that the sandwiches were only $2 each and they only grilled for 2 hours! Thank you to all of you who came out for a bite to eat, all those who offered us encouraging words, and most of all to the Schmick family for being so crazy generous to us! I can't wait to bring our little one home to show you how much all this means to us :) My parents were a big help. I wouldn't have been able to stay, I'm sure, if my mom hadn't been there to sit with Juliana and Evan at the picnic table. They were so patient, Evan in his little cart and Juliana with her crayons and color book.

You have no idea, friends. This is our pleasure and a small gift at that. The Lord is good to provide. Better to give than to receive. Thank you for recklessly abandoning your lives for Him! Oh Father God bless this family. Holy Spirit fill them and guide them in You that they may live for Your glory alone. May the image of Jesus be seen in them.
